AGED IN WOOD PRODUCTIONS

Founded in 2000 by Robyn Goodman, Aged In Wood Productions is a New York–based, Tony and Olivier Award–winning theatrical production company. For over two decades, Goodman and longtime producing partner Josh Fiedler have developed and produced some of Broadway’s most acclaimed works, combining creative ambition with a savvy, sustainable business model.

Their credits include GIANT (Olivier Award for Best New Play), AVENUE Q (Tony Award for Best Musical), IN THE HEIGHTS (Tony Award for Best Musical), RODGERS + HAMMERSTEIN’S CINDERELLA, TICK, TICK... BOOM!, and many more. Together, they’ve championed groundbreaking artists and brought bold new voices from development to international success on Broadway, Off-Broadway, the West End, and beyond.

Up next, Aged In Wood will bring GIANT to Broadway following its sold-out runs at London’s Harold Pinter Theatre and the Royal Court Theatre. Written by Mark Rosenblatt, starring John Lithgow as Roald Dahl, and directed by Nicholas Hytner, the play won three Olivier Awards (including Best New Play) and became the highest-grossing production in Harold Pinter Theatre history. The Broadway engagement begins March 2026, at The Music Box Theatre.

Aged In Wood is also developing REGENCY GIRLS a new musical comedy written by Jennifer Crittenden, Gabrielle Allan with music and lyrics by Amanda Green, and Curtis Moore, which premiered at The Old Globe in 2025; and WORKING GIRL, a musical adaptation of the hit 1980s film with music and lyrics by Cyndi Lauper and a book by Theresa Rebeck.

"I created Aged In Wood, LLC. in 2000 in order to bring my knowledge from producing approximately 55 plays in not--for--profit theaters to a commercial business venture. I determined that the core values of the company would be devoted to bringing young people to the theater and to create a cost effective business model that returned investors' money as quickly as possible. I am proud to say we have done well by our investors.

For those of you curious about the name Aged in Wood, it is the title of the play in which Bette Davis is starring in the film "All About Eve". Since my career has been devoted to discovering talent and developing new work, I felt the metaphor of creating good wine was an apt one."
